There is nothing better than to be alone after a stressful day.
Tojust escape from the reality and let your mind float.
Float to a fantazyworld you have bild piece by piece.
To get away from all the people who nag, away from all the noice and all what you have to do.
We all need a break sometimes.
Just to go out in the woods, smelling all the scentes in the air and hear the wonderful sounds of birds.
Sitting on a stone and watch the sun go down behind the tops of thees.
Feeling the evening breeze on your skin and see the forest in a new and magical way in the darkness that slowly wraps itself around everything you see.
To hear the cracking sounds when the animals slowly comes to watch you, to feel how it suddenly became so quiet and peacefull.
To see the stars in the sky and the leaves wich floats almost silently past the wearing of the cold wind.

Peace, the thing people spend so much mony on to find, when you just can go out in the night and find your own peace.
Everyone loves peace, and almost as many want peace in their lives.
I have found my wwy to peace when i´m sitting hear and writing.
Have you?

Shoshie on "Are you selfish?"

We all are actually quite selfish. You may not like it but if you think about it, how many times do you think of your surroundings and how many times do you think of yourself? Think and I'll ask the question again. Are you selfish? Because we think so often about our own problems like "my hair is a disaster". I don´t mean that you can´t think that your hair is a disaster some times, but then I would like to say to you that, ladie, there are people who would die of joy if her hair was their biggest problem! So next time you think something similar think instead of those who have it worse than you. I don´t mean that you should sit and be sad about them for hours, you just give them a thought and maybe there are people around you that you can help? Am also selfish sometimes, we all are. But if we all think more about our fellow human beings and less on ourself, I think this world will be a much better place. So I promise that I will be less selfish, do you?

Hello beautiful ladies, this post is specifically designed to speak about the music you enjoy listening or inspires now. I know for me, growing up as a child in an Ethiopian household, my mother would insist I only listen to Ethiopian music. However, my desire for different genres and styles lead me to artists such as Lauryn Hill, Andrew Bird, the Fugees, Bill Withers, Otis Redding, K-os, Blu&Exile, Taleb Kwali, Tribe called quest, Noah and the whale, Ray Charles, John Coltrane, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Charlie parker, Mos Def, B.B. King, India Arie, Belle&Sebastian, Blackalicious, Bob Dylan, Canibus, Radiohead, Eric hutchinson, Fredric Chopin, Ludwig Beethoven, Bach, Glee, Anthony hamilton, Justin Nozuka, Musiqsoulchild, Alicia Keys, Regina Spektor, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Journey, Vampire Weekend... The list seems never ending, infinite in other words. I hope you can look into these artists I've named because through music, expression and happiness is felt. I one artist I definitely recommend is, Lauryn Hill because of her empowering words and intelligent thoughts. Open your mind to new possibilities, indulge in music that defies your daily norm. Maybe you can inspire me with your list of music; I hope to do the same.

just remember you are beautiful queens

Yah so to be honest with you I'm not the smartest person around so when it comes to me and graduation, I start freaking out.. And there's kinda a lot of pressure on me bcuz my sister dropped out of highschool in gr. 11, and my dad thinks that I'm some friggin genius; always asking me why I never understand the things that they teach in school and it rlly sucks cuz i feel like such a dumbass. And to also add i have 2 cousins in the same grade as me, and they're passing with flying colors and I'm not.. so to not graduate with them would rlly suck..

Does anybody have any kind of advice???

I've got lots of questions in mind about puberty that's happening to a 14 year old girl like me, now. I'm just wonderin', I've got excess fat in my lower body near my thighs and butt. So, are those excess fats made for future use so that I could grow out of it when I'm older? Did you gain weight in your teen years and ended up in a good figure now? If you're having excess fats at a certain area during my age, are they still there or have you grown out of it? Did you have body acne and pimples till now? Or have they gone?

I wanna see the before and aftermath of puberty from you guys since you've been through it before. Thanks. :)

We were in a fight. She kinda stated out the things I did horribly to her and our friends over the past few days which led her to think I should get my act together. She stated all my horrible actions pretty well via email and claimed that she wants the 'old' me back. She wrote that these insults were gonna hurt me but they're there to clear up my mind that I should CHANGE myself?? I'm having doubts here. I have self-respect and I don't believe that I should change myself to make her be my friend again. Aren't friendships suppose to be unconditional? I feel like she's receiving more than I'm giving. Greedy is what comes to mind when I described her. Help, please?

Hey Ladies,
I was sitting here thinking the other day that it would be so cool to have a live chat room for GBD that way we could communicate to each other in a more direct way. So i surfed the net a bit and i figured out how to create my own web site and put a chat room up and i was able to set it up specifically for GBD. All you have to do is go onto http://gbdchat.yolasite.com and you will pretty much know what to do from there. You can write a blog just like on here pretty much or you can chat live with other GBD members. I thought it would be cool to be able to share our experiences with each other in a more direct way and i hope you enjoy it. If any of you have any ideas on how i should update or improve this site you can e-mail me at Fastpitchchik2011@yahoo.com. Thanks and i hope you enjoy!

It's always uncomfortable when going out in public with my dad, I would see passers-by wandering their eyes on us, thinking I am my dad's girlfriend. Have you ever had that feeling? We met this lady once who was my dad's friend and thought I was my dad's a girlfriend. Coming from a FOURTEEN year old, it's pretty uncomfortable. We didn't really talk about it though. I'm just close to my dad that's all, don't worry my mum's always at work so they're still together. Besides I look older than I am and people would make crude assumptions between me and my dad. I HATE IT! Anyone else on the same page?

L.L on "Selfish vs. selfless"

So I've been pondering...
When it comes to romantic love, there might be two very distinct categories: selfish love, and selfless love.

In the reality of things being selfless is a very efficient process of getting your heart spit on, back-handed, shot through-and-through, squeezed, salted and eaten by a monstrosity of people. Like most wide-eyed and curious persons, I’ve come to ask... “Why?”…

The answer is simply put. In a very few serenity of places, there perchance exists a selfless love given by a person who genuinely exhibits this phenomena. As for the rest, it is selfish. A kind of love that is directed toward the perception of one’s own gravitational field is the only one in animation, “You must satisfy me, before I contemplate satisfying you.” We live in a society where popular thought (consciously or unconsciously) is the parsimony of essential needs.

And I am lead to another question; where is the balance of being a compassionate, selfless person, in a world that takes advantage of it?
“You are trying to change things by doing pure actions in an impure world. That is a beautiful thing.” – Oliver Stone

I personally think that you Kristin and Kendra is good people that tries to do something good and different to the world instead of just work 8 to 4
everyday with something in a store.

So, Kristin and Kendra, would you mind post personal notes on the site?

Recently i was just walking and i don't know what or how, but i stopped. And in my head it registered that a woman walking down the street, probably had similar money problems or worst, and that there were millions of women like her not only in America but the world. Like, the world! Do you realize how massive and unmanageable the world is. I can't even grasp the amount of lifestyles people are living, but yet day after day they don't even cross my mind because I'm so absorbed in my own life and what is going to happen to me. Now that i look back I've been selfish, but is it something that i can help? What i mean is, is it a human instinct or nature to be so wrapped up in ones life to the point of...pretty much isolation?

I just wanted all of you girls out there know that you are never alone. Especially with this website where you can seek help from your fellow women. Lately I have felt very alone and then i found this website set up by Kristin Kreuk and i understand that all of the things i am going through i am not alone and there are plenty of people out there going through the same thing. Kristin has inspired me by how she act on film and by reading her many biographies. I mainly just wanted to thank her if she is actually reading these and i wanted her to know that she does help people by her actions. I also wanted to make sure that all of you girls, teens, women out there that you are not alone. If any of you ever need to talk or open up i am here for you and so are all of the people on this site. Yall are all beautiful people and yall all have the ability to change the world. I hope everyone has a very blessed life and you all accomplish all you set out to do. If we stick together i know we can do anything.
